What happens to our content? Is it used to train the AI?
No. Data processing takes place on servers located in the European Union. Your data will not leave the European legal jurisdiction. It is expressly not used to train public AI models. An NDA is also available upon request.
We don't have any translation memories or glossaries yet - will it still work?
Yes. We create your translation memories from your existing translation files, even if they are only available as Word or PDF files. We can also work together to develop a glossary of your brand terminology.
How does GATEWAYAI differ from DeepL Pro or ChatGPT?
Generic tools produce generic output. They aren't familiar with your products, your technical terms, or your tone of voice.
GATEWAYAI is trained on your data from the very beginning and delivers translations that match the style and terminology of everything you've published so far. Data is processed on EU servers - something that generic tools do not guarantee.
What languages and file formats are supported?
All 42 languages in the Leinhäuser portfolio. Supported formats include, among others: DOCX, XLSX, PPTX, PDF, HTML, XLIFF, IDML (InDesign), JSON, XML. Please contact us if you need an API connection to your systems.
How soon can we go live?
Typically 2–4 weeks from the kick-off to production deployment, depending on the effort required to integrate the glossary and translation memory. We can already show some initial test translations in the demo.
Can we add human review as a service if needed?
Yes. For each job, you decide whether you would like an ISO 17100-certified specialist translator to review the AI-generated output. This is particularly useful for external corporate communications, press releases, contracts, and anything else intended for external publication.
