Johannes took a few detours before joining the world of translation. His first passion was dance, having attended ballet school while finishing his pre-university education. Ultimately, though, he decided against a dancing career. After receiving his matura – the official pre-university diploma in Austria – he moved around to various places abroad, from Spain and Portugal to Latin America. Through his contact with the cultures and local people of these different countries, he discovered his fascination with the world of language.
Once he was back home, he dedicated himself to translation. During his many years of experience as a translator and project manager, he discovered the many facets of this career path, ensuring he would never get bored.
Johannes likes to get to the bottom of things. He’ll never let problems go unsolved if he can help it.
Above all, he’s fascinated by the technical side of things, which is why from day one at Leinhäuser, he’s been a member of the Tech Help team, providing his colleagues with advice and assistance whenever the need arises.
But even outside of work, it’s hard for boredom to get a hold on Johannes. He can usually be found out in nature; either on foot or mountain bike, he explores the mountains, toting along his binoculars in hopes of spotting some birds. And when he’s had his fill of nature’s tranquility, Johannes can be found at various concerts, where he doesn’t mind when things get a bit louder.
