After earning a Diplom (a translator’s diploma, equivalent to a postgraduate degree) from the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz’s Faculty of Translation Studies, Linguistics, and Cultural Studies (FTSK) in Germersheim, Corinna moved to Munich to join one of the translation industry’s biggest agencies. There, Corinna honed her multitasking abilities and learned the technical skills and no-frills aspects of the translation business.
By 2011, Corinna was seeking an agency that valued creative solutions. She found what she was looking for at Leinhäuser, where she’s had the freedom to work as a senior editor and translator, and to manage varied client accounts and projects. With her deep experience working with small-to-medium-sized enterprises — Germany’s powerful Mittelstand — Corinna also consulted colleagues on SME accounts.
Since July 2023, Corinna has served as co-lead of Leinhäuser’s marketing division, which includes SME, product marketing, marketing, and public relations client accounts. In this role, Corinna works closely with fellow division management team members, studio managers, and account managers to ensure best-in-class services are delivered to clients in the most efficient possible manner. Corinna also coordinates with fellow division managers to organize the agency’s resource allocation, assigning the right teams to client accounts.
“By pairing my translation experience with my organizational and problem-solving skills, I get to do a job that keeps me on my toes every day!”
After working in the agency’s Unterhaching headquarters for four years, Corinna relocated back to her hometown in the Baden region and has worked from her home office there since 2015.
When not in her home office, you’ll most often find Corinna cheering on her favorite European football teams, SC Freiburg and Karlsruher SC, and her favorite U.S. football team, the San Francisco 49ers.
