Nothing gets by Silke without her making a witty or insightful comment. Whether it’s work or play, she’s always fully engaged with what’s going on around her or the project at hand. That’s something her colleagues have known since even before she joined Leinhäuser, because she’s been connected to the company since 1999.
Silke has high-caliber, wide-ranging marketing communications experience spanning direct marketing, creative agency account management, event management, brand management, trade communications, and PR management. She also has international experience, gained as an expat for LEGO in the USA, along with an abundance of insights from her many travels around the world.
Silke always brings fresh ideas to the table on how to bring out the best in projects and campaigns to really make them shine.
When Silke started at LEGO in Munich in 1999, she was among the newly formed Leinhäuser Language Service’s earliest translation clients. Years later, she established her own marketing communications business and Leinhäuser became one of her clients, After advising the company as a consultant for four years, Silke joined Leinhäuser in 2016 to manage corporate communications and serve as one of the key contacts for new clients in the marketing and communications sector. In her early years as part of the team, Silke helped to strengthen the processes around client acquisition and onboarding. As the company grew, the agile organization required enhanced internal communications, and so Silke moved away from her role in new business to focus exclusively on internal and further on external communications.
Whenever Silke can, she travels to the city she considers her second home, Venice, Italy. Silke has visited Venice already more than 30 times to enjoy its unique cityscape, the Biennale, Italian cuisine, and the lagoon’s relaxed lifestyle.
